Easter

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Easter. It is hard to get Jonah to sit still and take a picture without being goofy.

Snow...and happy birthday!

It's snowing again in the Nashville area! I get so excited because growing up in Mississippi we didn't even have snow flurries once a year and here we've had a little snow four times in one month! When I got out of Bible study tonight all the kids were going crazy (and adults too) because it had started snowing. Jonah and I were just as excited when we left church in the snow! Here are a few pictures of the biggest snow so far. The first picture was taken with my phone after getting in the car at church. It's not great but it shows how big the flakes were and also has a nice reflection of my hand. The other pictures were taken after we got home.

On a side note, as I am typing this Jonah is singing "Happy Birthday to Mommy." I couldn't get him to tell me happy birthday when it was my birthday, but now I guess he is sorry for that. Just a few weeks late, but always nice especially from him!

Home Depot Car Wash

We went to Home Depot tonight where passed the car wash. I must say that I have never seen a car wash that was completely frozen. There were icicles hanging from the top and the soap that had squirted out was frozen to look like snow! I took some pictures with my phone that I thought I would share.

Thanksgiving, Christmas and Snow!!

It's been a long time since I've posted, and a lot has happened.

The week of Thanksgiving Jonah made his first trip to "Mickey Mouse's House" aka Disney World. The three of us met my family there and had a great time!

This was also the first Christmas that Jonah realized what was going on. He has been asking about Santa Clause coming since the beginning of November! I can't tell you how many mornings we have gone down the stairs and Jonah had to see if Santa was in the coat closet hiding from him. He just knew it was time for Santa to visit!

We have also had snow (or what a Mississippi girl calls snow) a few times. The first time was before Christmas and we had some pretty good size snow flakes (that didn't stick of course). Jonah thought it was great! Jeremy called us Tuesday and told us to look outside because it was snowing again. Jonah and I were ecstatic! Today was a repeat of the snow. I sure hope that one day a little will stick. I'm dying to make a snowman! Here are a few pictures I got of snow collecting in our yard.

Just a little random information: I was walking to my car tonight at the hospital and realized I was colder than I ever remember being before. It was because it was 14 degrees with a wind chill of 5 degrees! I'm definitely not in the south anymore! Note to self: wear fleece pants and change in to scrubs after getting to the hospital. Scrubs were not meant for warmth!

A busy week for Jonah

Here are some pictures from last week. Jonah had a busy week going to school, getting his hair cut and helping Jeremy cook!

Our little Emeril tasting his food!

Jonah putting socks on by himself!

I took Jonah to see Jeremy at the church before going to school Friday!
He was excited because Jeremy had breakfast for him.

Nasty weather!

Tonight we are getting much needed rain with a few extra tornadoes thrown in there. It seems like this weather came suddenly and brought heavy winds with it! Jonah and I were stuck in 5:00 traffic in town and I wasn't sure if we would blow over or not. We did manage to make it home...a little wet, but safe.

Jonah Doodle

Here are some pictures I took in the truck this morning when we were waiting for Jeremy to finish at church. For some reason Jonah thought he looked like the Doodlebops.
